Originally introduced with the Air Max Plus in 1998, Hyper Blue became one of the silhouette’s most recognisable colourways. Nike brought the iconic design back in 2018 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Air Max Plus.
The 2018 edition features a breathable mesh upper with a distinctive Hyper Blue gradient, transitioning from lighter blue around the upper to deeper blue tones towards the lower sections. The signature black TPU cage provides a strong contrast against the blue base.
Bright yellow Nike Swoosh and TN branding add another distinctive element, while the midsole combines white and black sections with blue detailing. The visible Air units also incorporate yellow accents.
The shoe retains the original TN’s instantly recognisable Tuned Air cushioning, wavy TPU structure and aggressive streetwear profile.
The model is identified by style code BQ4629-003 and has the official colourway Black / Chamois / Sky Blue / Hyper Blue.
