The Nike Air Max 95 OG “Fresh Mint” offers a refined interpretation of one of Nike’s most recognisable running-inspired lifestyle trainers. Its combination of graduated grey panels, white mesh and Fresh Mint accents creates a colourway that is understated while still standing out.
Originally released in 2019 identified bystyle code CD7495-101, the Fresh Mint colourway draws inspiration from a similar Air Max 95 design that first appeared around 2009. While it is often described as an “OG” release by sneaker retailers and marketplaces, the Fresh Mint colourway is not an original 1995 Air Max 95 colourway.
The upper features the familiar layered Air Max 95 construction, with different shades of grey gradually becoming darker across the signature wavy side panels. A white mesh base provides contrast underneath the layered overlays and helps maintain the clean appearance of the sneaker.
Fresh Mint detailing provides the defining colour accent. The soft green shade appears across the lace loops, Swoosh branding and visible Air cushioning, giving the otherwise neutral grey and white upper a subtle but distinctive finish.
The familiar Air Max 95 side profile remains central to the design. Inspired by the human anatomy, the layered upper creates the distinctive flowing appearance that has made the Air Max 95 one of Nike’s most recognisable lifestyle silhouettes.
Underfoot, the trainer uses visible Nike Air cushioning within the midsole, helping provide the cushioned feel associated with the Air Max family. The foam midsole and rubber outsole complete the traditional Air Max 95 construction.
The colour balance makes the Nike Air Max 95 OG “Fresh Mint” particularly versatile. Its grey and white foundation works easily with everyday outfits, while the Fresh Mint accents provide enough colour to distinguish it from more conventional grey or black Air Max 95 releases.
